1. It’s time to talk about Breece Hall as Big 12’s best running back

After yet another 100-yard performance, it’s time to start talking about what Breece Hall has become: arguably the Big 12’s best running back.

Hall led all rushers on Saturday, posting 135 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries, averaging 5.0 per touch. He also had one reception for 14 yards and looked like a complete back against the Red Raiders, having yet another big game.

Seriously, though, he might just be the best running back in the conference.

The sophomore had 103 yards in the opening loss to Louisiana, 154 in a win over TCU and 139 in an upset over Oklahoma. Add 135 from Saturday and he’s over 500 yards on the young season with eight touchdowns and a yards per carry average of just under 6.0.

Iowa State has one of the best quarterbacks in the country to go along with a young running back who is sky-rocketing up leaderboards and looks like the best running back in the Big 12. Not too shabby.
