1. BYU wins by two scores

With Zach Wilson having himself a big day and the defense creating four turnovers, it only seems right that BYU wins this one. And that it will.

The Cougars are 4.5-point favorites in the road and while that seems fair given that Houston is just 1-0 with a victory over an unproven Tulane team, it’s tough to truly tell how good Dana Holgorsen and Co. truly are. They might have something special with Clayton Tune under center, scoring 49 points and out-gaining Tulane 476-211 in the opener, but BYU is a different beast.

BYU is playing its best football in quite some time and Houston won’t have answers for Wilson and that offense. He’s one of the most overlooked superstars in the nation and he’s going to have a monster game in front of a national audience on Friday night.

With all of these factors, I believe BYU wins by at least two scores. Whether it’s a touchdown and a field goal, three field goals or two touchdowns, I think the Cougars are going to put this game out of reach late.
