2. Louisville is in major struggle mode

Talented or not, Louisville has some major issues right now. The Cardinals are massively struggling right now. They are just 1-3 with three straight losses and no ACC victories yet.

Louisville opened the season with a 35-21 win over Western Kentucky and then followed that up with a 13-point loss to Miami at home, allowing 47 points. The Cardinals then lost to Pitt on the road by a field goal and then were blown out by Georgia Tech in Atlanta. These are the types of losses than can build up and crush the confidence of a young team.

The Cardinals have lost three straight and seem to be shooting themselves in the foot every time. They have to now hit the road to take on the No. 4 team in the country. That’s not exactly what you want when you’re a young team on a losing streak.

Notre Dame is on fire right now, starting the season with three straight wins by double figures.

These two teams are trending in opposite directions and Notre Dame will take advantage of a confidence-less Louisville squad.
