2. Alabama’s defense was more opportunistic than Georgia’s

Alabama’s defense hasn’t been as great as Georgia’s has been throughout the season. However, they won the day against Georgia just taking advantage of opportunities that were presented to them.

Three different players grabbed interceptions in this one for the Crimson Tide and were able to throw Bennett off his game.

Will this continue throughout the season? Alabama’s season does get significantly easier as the weeks go on, not really facing anyone else of strong caliber and Georgia still has to face off against Florida and LSU, though I am not sure how great either of those teams really is.

However, both teams have now shown they can play sound defense and will likely both be playing for the SEC Championship.
