1. Zach Wilson needs to be in the top three of the Heisman convo

This is Zach Wilson’s world and we’re all just living in it.

For the third time this season, the BYU quarterback threw for over 300 yards and he’s had at least two touchdown passes in each game. He had his best performance of the year against Houston, however, passing for 400 yards and four touchdowns on 25-of-35 completions and rushing for another 40 yards on nine carries.

The junior quarterback now has 1,641 yards and 12 touchdowns on the year with a top-eight QBR in the country and just one interception. He’s also completing 79 percent of his passes.

Wilson belongs in this Heisman conversation and not even just “in” it, but near the top of it. He has to be near the top of the race after this huge game on national TV. He showed the country just why BYU is a top-15 team and why he’s been mentioned by Mike Golic as one of the five front-runners for the award heading into Friday.

Give this kid the recognition he deserves.
