1. Florida wins by three touchdowns

OK, let me explain myself a little bit here.

Do I think Missouri is a surprise this season? Yes. Do I believe Florida is elite? Yes. Do I think that Missouri will keep things close against the Gators? For three quarters, yes.

Florida’s defense hasn’t been the best this season so it’ll give up some yardage to Connor Bazelak and the Tigers but scoring touchdowns is a different story. The Tigers will reach the end zone a few times, but Florida is far more equipped to win a shootout and that’s what it might turn into.

But I do think the Gators will make some stops in the third and fourth quarters to lead to a pull-away win. Florida will be up by seven in the third quarter and then it’ll get a huge stop to end the frame leading into the fourth. To start that final quarter, Kyle Trask will hit Kyle Pitts for a 50-yard touchdown to flip momentum.

That will be all the Gators need, but they’ll add another score and maybe even a field goal later in the quarter to sew things up and run away with a 49-24 win.
