2. Kyle Trask becomes the Heisman Trophy favorite

I’m a big believer in Kyle Trask and when the season started, I had every reason to believe he was the next Joe Burrow-type of breakout star. He looked like just that through the first three games and even played well in a loss to Texas A&M, but a multi-week break due to a COVID-19 outbreak turned into people forgetting about him.

Trask fell behind guys like Mac Jones, Trevor Lawrence, Justin Fields and even Zach Wilson in the Heisman Trophy race during that break, but he came back and made everyone look silly for forgetting just how good he is.

The senior wasn’t super accurate against Missouri, but he passed for 345 yards and four touchdowns with an interception. On the year, he has 1,341 yards and 18 touchdowns with just two picks and a career-best 68 percent completion rate.

That will continue in November.

Florida’s quarterback will average over 300 yards per game again with 12 more touchdowns and he’ll shoot to the front of the Heisman race.
