2. Three Chanticleers will score rushing touchdowns

It’s no secret that Coastal Carolina is a run first team. They run a spread offense with massive amounts of option concepts out of the shotgun and pistol. It’s incredibly effective as they layer their play-calling off of the option. Once you think you know which two players are involved, there’s a third option or a passing option and you’re out of position.

South Alabama will have no answer for this offensive attack on Saturday.

Coastal Carolina is scoring 42.8 points per game when Grayson McCall is the starting quarterback (McCall missed the Georgia Southern game due to injury) and it’s because of his dominance in the option attack blended with a passing game you have to respect.

He’s agile, a good decision maker, and the perfect point guard for this offense. His ability to get the ball to their multiple options will lead to at least three different Chanticleers scoring rushing touchdowns, including McCall himself.
