Saturday’s matchup between Arkansas and Florida football will be one of the most intriguing on Week 11. Will the Gators stave off an upset?

Florida finds itself in an interesting matchup on Saturday afternoon. On one hand, the Gators are coming off a huge win over Georgia and should be riding high and on the other, they’ll have to face a familiar face who was a big part of their success for the past few years in Feleipe Franks.

It’s going to be a bittersweet matchup against Arkansas on Saturday.

The Razorbacks have been a punching bag in the SEC for years, but Sam Pittman has changed the culture almost instantly. He will be absent on Saturday because he tested positive for COVID-19, but Arkansas shouldn’t suffer too much.

Florida is hoping to hold off an upset-hungry Arkansas team and that’s not going to be the easiest task.

3. Florida will struggle to slow Feleipe Franks

Feleipe Franks is back in Gainesville with one thing on his mind: revenge.

OK, so Franks doesn’t hold any animosity toward Florida after getting hurt last season and losing his starting job to Kyle Trask for good, but beating your former team on their own field after they moved on from you at quarterback has to be one of the most desirable feelings.

The Gators have been better on defense ever since their multi-week break at the beginning of October but before that, they couldn’t stop a runny nose.

Franks knows this defense well and while they also know him, he’s playing the best football of his career and seems to be improving in every facet of his game. The Gators are going to have a tough time slowing down the former starter in orange and blue.

The senior transfer will pass for 250 yards and three scores.
