2. Defense can’t read too much into Kyle Trask’s big game

Kyle Trask went off — again.

The senior quarterback and top Heisman Trophy contender had yet another big game on Saturday afternoon, leading Florida to 40-plus points in SEC action for the third straight game. That’s the first time the Gators have accomplished that feat in conference play since 2008, according to ESPN. Not too shabby.

So if you’re an Arkansas fan who has been happy with the progress of the defense and you saw what Florida and Trask just did and you’re worried, don’t be. They do this to everyone.

Florida has been picking apart defenses all season long whether it’s been Texas A&M or even Georgia, the Gators have been too much for pretty much every defensive backfield.

Trask is that dude this season and Arkansas shouldn’t be discouraged by his five-touchdown first half or his 300-plus yards in a comfortable win. He’s a different breed of quarterback.
