2. Ian Book out-duels Sam Howell

When you look at the numbers for each starting quarterback, you’d think that Sam Howell is going to have the better game when these two match up. He’s passed for over 2,600 yards and 23 touchdowns on the season and he looks like one of the best quarterbacks in the nation.

But on Friday, he’ll be the second-best quarterback on the field.

Howell is a fantastic quarterback and I see him throwing for close to 300 yards and three touchdowns, but Howell is going to total 350 yards (passing and rushing) and five total touchdowns. He’s going to have himself quite the game.

Book will add to that Heisman resume with another four passing touchdowns to give him 15 on the season to just one interception. He will also pass 2,000 passing yards on the year because of this performance.

While Book likely won’t win the Heisman over someone like Kyle Trask, he’s still a top-five or 10 candidate with a few weeks remaining. He’ll prove that here.
