1. Kellen Mond and the offense had their worst game to date

Don’t let the strength of the defense distract you from the fact that this was probably the worse offensive game we have seen from the Aggies in quite a long time. Outside of the long touchdown run for Isaiah Spiller, we didn’t see much of anything from the offense and the line allowed their first sack in five games, though it almost turned into a positive play anyway.

Kellen Mond finished 11-for-34 for 105 yards, good for a 32 percent completion rate. That isn’t going to win you many games, especially not in the College Football Playoff if the Aggies are lucky enough to make it that far.

The defense bailed them out big time this week, but they can’t be forced to do that week in and week out. The offense is going to have to get better and return to what we saw against Florida and South Carolina to win out this season.
