Nebraska Football: 3 Bold predictions vs Purdue in Week 14
Wan’Dale Robinson hits 100 total yards again
One thing that has become clear for Nebraska football is that Wan’dale Robinson is the go-to guy for the offense and after back-to-back games with more than 100 total yards, Robinson is finally starting to look like the player he was recruited to be.
Robinson has 30 receptions this season and 15 of those have come the past two weeks. Purdue has allowed 264 yards per game and is giving up completions on 63 percent of pass attempts. That should set up well for the Huskers and for Robinson who has excelled in the slot role.
Not only should Robinson have another solid game receiving, but he should be able to make some plays in the running game too. The ground attack has been inconsistent this season outside of McCaffrey doing his thing, so I’d expect coaches to continue to find creative ways to get Robinson the football.
Robinson should get close to 100 yards receiving when his day is done, since a breakout performance has been coming and with that in mind, eclipsing over 100 yards of total offense shouldn’t be that troublesome.
