2. Kellen Mond will pass for over 300 yards

For the first time since October, Kellen Mond is going to pass for over 300 yards and look good doing it. He has struggled to put up big passing numbers since going for 338 yards and three touchdowns in an upset win over Florida. He’s been mistake-free, but he’s due.

Mond has passed for less than 225 yards in each of his past three games and needs a breakout game going into a New Year’s Six bowl or potential playoff.

Tennessee’s defense has been horrid this season, giving up over 260 yards per game through the air. On top of that, the Volunteers struggle to stop the run and that’s going to force them to play up so Mond doesn’t get loose on the ground. He’s going to take advantage and take some shots, torching the Volunteers for over 300 yards and three scores.

On the regular season, he’ll finish with over 2,000 yards and 21 touchdown passes with just two picks which isn’t too shabby for his senior year.
