2. Kyle Trask put the team on his back again

Once again, Kyle Trask was the reason Florida was in a game. The Gators were having no problems moving the ball through the air down the field against the Crimson Tide who have one of the best defenses in the nation every single year. It was an impressive showing for Trask who put the team on his back and almost upset the Crimson Tide.

The senior gunslinger finished the game with 408 yards and three touchdowns on 26-of-40 completions. He also added a rushing score and a two-point conversion run.

On the year, Trask had 43 touchdown passes and over 4,000 yards while completing around 70 percent of his passes, but it just wasn’t enough. He had talented targets like Kadarius Toney, Kyle Pitts and Trevon Grimes to throw to all season but the lack of a run game and a defense did this team in.

Alabama’s offense was just too much as he could only do so much for the Gators, playing a nearly flawless game but he couldn’t answer every single Tide score.

We’ve heard this before, but Trask put the team on his back in a losing effort. It’s too bad his defense let him down again.
