1. Notre Dame beats Clemson for a second time

Before the season, if you told me that Notre Dame would have beaten Clemson and would be the top ranked team from the ACC, I would have called you crazy. The Irish were granted a one-season spot in the ACC due to COVID-19 and conferences moving to league-only action. They have taken full advantage, making a title game in their first year.

Notre Dame is going to put on one heck of a show offensively and Clemson will push back with Trevor Lawrence healthy and Travis Etienne having his best game of the year, but the Irish have been the nation’s hottest team.

There’s a playoff berth on the line and Brian Kelly knows just how much that means to these guys, especially someone like Ian Book who’s a senior and who won’t get another shot.

Book is going to play one of the best games of his career against the Tigers again and he’s going to lead Notre Dame past Dabo Swinney for the second time in 2020. That’s a feat that no team may ever be able to say again.

This one comes down to the wire, but I say Notre Dame wins by a field goal in an instant classic.
