1. Oklahoma State finishes season strong with double-digit win

Predicting a win by Oklahoma State over Miami is one thing, but predicting one by at least 10 points is another. This is the definition of bold.

There are many people who believe Miami will have its way with Oklahoma State based on the trajectories of both teams heading into the Cheez-It Bowl. Oklahoma State lost 2-of-4 games, including a blowout against top rival Oklahoma. On the other hand, Miami won 5-of-6 games but the most recent was an ugly showing against North Carolina.

Still, finishing the season 2-2 is not ideal if you’re trying to go into the offseason with some momentum and eyes set on a 2021 conference title.

But a win over ACC contender Miami will change things. Oklahoma State will get that momentum back with a big win over the Hurricanes and it’ll be due in large part to the performance of the defense against D’Eriq King and solid showing from Spencer Sanders.

Oklahoma State wins the Cheez-It Bowl by 10 points and improves to 8-3 on the year, climbing to No. 17 in the final AP Top 25.
