2. Look forward to more Devon Achane, Isaiah Spiller and Ainias Smith.

You’ve got two sophomores and a freshman here ready to make some serious moves throughout 2021 and moving on. Isaiah Spiller, though he was playing injured, finished with 11 carries for 50 yards and two touchdowns.

When he couldn’t go, it was Devon Achane that made the game-changing plays down the stretch to finish the game. He finished with 140 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries.

Don’t forget Ainias Smith, who caught six balls for 125 yards in the Orange Bowl.

These three are probably one of the more talented running back rooms in the SEC for the coming season and Aggie fans should be excited about that. These are three guys that can make this offense go in many different ways. Look for them to do exactly that for this team next season, no matter who the quarterback ends up being.

Credit to Kellen Mond for a tremendous season as well, but these three are the stars moving forward for sure.
