One of the top ranked uncommitted recruits in the 2021 class isn’t deciding until Feb. 3 and the Gators are very much in the running.

Usually around this time with the cycle winding down and National Signing Day approaching, we’d be talking about potential visits swaying a kid’s opinion. But since there’s a pandemic going on, the NCAA decided to suspend all in-person recruiting so don’t expect a last-minute visit to change Terrion Arnold’s mind.

Right now, Florida looks like the favorite to keep him in the state but Alabama is making a push for the four-star safety from Tallahassee.

Arnold is ranked the No. 26 prospect in the class as well as the second-best safety, according to 247Sports. He’s also the No. 6 recruit in the state of Florida and keeping him home would be a huge win for the Gators — they could use a win against Alabama in something.

Expect Arnold’s decision to draw a lot of attention and don’t be surprised if the Gators win this one. He’s the No. 1 player left on their board.
