1. Experienced quarterback play is something to not take for granted

The Aggies will be lead by a new quarterback in 2021 and things are full of questions in College Station at that position. Will it be Haynes King? Will it be Zach Calzada? No one really knows at this point, though the fans will tell you that King is the quarterback to beat heading into spring camp.

Many fans going into the 2020 season had nothing but horrible things to say about Kellen Mond as he prepared for his senior season amidst a pandemic. A lot of it was due to off the field activities, but either way many were not fans of the senior quarterback. However, he broke record after record in 2020 — though many of those were set by Johnny Manziel in half the time, that is neither here nor there.

I will tell you this, after going 9-1 and nearly making it to the College Football Playoff, many will miss having an experienced quarterback under center and an experienced offensive line. There will be growing pains that we will see in College Station, under center for sure and they will miss having an experienced quarterback there.
