You could easily put two guys in this spot. Dominique McKenzie looks like he’s part of a package deal with his brother Marcus McKenzie and both could very well end up in a BYU uniform in 2022.

Dominique is the slightly more talented brother right now, ranked the No. 96 receiver in the class and he’s the eighth-best prospect in the state of Utah, per 247Sports. His brother is currently unranked but both look to be strong athletes, standing around 6-foot-0, 180 pounds.

Although he could afford to add some muscle to his 6-foot frame, he is still a really talented wide out who could be the next star receiver in that BYU offense. He has to have seen what Gunner Romney and Dax Milne have done this season and it’s definitely attractive for young wide outs. They were focal points of the BYU offense.

The Cougars will need a replacement for Milne and eventually Romney and while Zach Wilson won’t be coming through those doors to throw passes to Dominique, he’s a top target.

BYU needs to make these brothers priorities and there’s a good chance they’ll be Cougars in 2022.
