Kyle Pitts is trending in the right direction on draft boards, but which NFL teams would be the most ideal fits for the Florida football star?

Kyle Pitts is one of the best tight end prospects to come along in the past decade and he’s about to make one NFL team very happy on draft day.

There are still a couple of months until the 2021 NFL Draft and Pitts is already rising up draft boards with a handful of teams picking early in need of a tight end. But those teams may not exactly be the best fit for the Florida star.

Pitts has the size and athletic ability to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL but which landing spots would make that happen sooner rather than later?

3. Atlanta Falcons (No. 4 overall)

I think the Falcons would be a better destination for Kyle Pitts than the Eagles because of the quarterback situations. Atlanta still has Matt Ryan and there’s a decent chance they draft a quarterback in the second round to be the heir apparent to the veteran.

Imagine Atlanta picks Pitts at No. 4 overall and then a quarterback like Mac Jones drops to the second round at No. 35 overall. Picking Jones there would be a huge win.

Heck, even Kyle Trask could be a decent option for the Falcons in the second round. It would knock out two birds in the first two rounds since they desperately need a tight end and a quarterback of the future to replace Matty Ice.

Atlanta also has a decent talent pool on offense and if Pitts were to land with the Falcons, he wouldn’t just go there to watch his career stumble in a dead offense. The Falcons pass the ball quite a bit, too, which is a plus for Pitts.
