1. Miami Dolphins (No. 3)

Reuniting with Tua Tagovailoa (assuming he’s not traded this offseason)? What better spot could there before for DeVonta Smith?

Tua is the quarterback who helped kickstart DeVonta’s breakout Alabama career and the two built a very strong connection in Tuscaloosa. It would benefit both if they’re reunited in Miami. This gives Tua a potential new No. 1 receiver and it makes Smith feel more comfortable as a rookie.

The Dolphins’ top receiver a year ago was DeVante Parker and he showed plenty of promise and he’s on contract until 2023 but the next closest receiver (not tight end or running back) had 420 fewer yards and only one touchdown. That goes to show how much a receiver is needed in this offense, especially if Parker is the premier target.

If Parker had a complementary receiver who could take some pressure off him and Mike Gesicki, the Dolphins’ offense could be scary. Smith would be just that.

Alabama fans would easily have a new favorite NFL team if Smith and Tua teamed up in Miami.
