We all remember what happened just a few short months ago between Florida and LSU in Gainesville. The Gators looked like they got a key stop to save their slim playoff hopes with a late-season win over LSU, but Marco Wilson tossed the shoe of a tackled Tiger receiver and drew an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty which set up a game-winning Cade York field goal.

To say this game was one of the wildest of the year would be a massive understatement.

Florida hasn’t forgotten the loss and how it crushed all playoff hopes, but LSU is going to be much better this season and the Tigers will have home-field advantage here. Another classic here in Baton Rouge, but this time with less controversy.

Final Score: Florida 27, LSU 30 (5-2, 3-2)

After losing their second SEC game of the season, Florida will get a bye to prepare for Georgia in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. And boy will this be a good one.

As long as Emory Jones continues to grow and develop throughout the year like I believe he will, the duel between him and JT Daniels will be epic. This will be one of those all-time great battles between Georgia and Florida but the Bulldogs will get the better of the Gators here — just slightly.

Final Score: Florida 30, Georgia 34 (5-3, 3-3)
