Florida football has been pretty active in the transfer portal this offseason. The Gators have landed four transfers, all coming from prominent Power Five programs.

The Gators picked up transfers from Mississippi State kicker Jace Christmann, Auburn defensive tackler Daquan Newkirk, Penn State defensive tackle Antonio Shelton and Clemson running back and former five-star prospect Demarkcus Bowman. All of those guys should have an immediate impact on Dan Mullen and Florida but there could be more in the works.

Florida nearly held a commitment from LSU tight end Arik Gilbert but he decommitted about a month after announcing his transfer to the Gators.

Mullen needs to continue to be active this offseason and here are three more guys to target.

Chibueze Nwanna was one of the best JUCO prospects in the country in the 2019 class and committed to Arkansas, but with the coaching changes and everything going on in Fayetteville, he decided to enter the transfer portal following a quiet career there.

Stone Forsythe and Brett Heggie are gone from along the offensive line, but just because those are only two departures, it doesn’t mean that all is well for Florida up front.

The Gators could use some depth and experience so why not add the former No. 50 overall JUCO prospect and sixth-best offensive tackle? Nwanna could stay in the SEC and prove that his massive 6-8, 320-pound frame can excel at the FBS level.

Who wouldn’t want a 6-8, 320-pound tackle protecting their quarterback?
