South Carolina kicks off a very winnable end to the season for the Aggies and if they can blow the Gamecocks out like I think they should, they could coast to an undefeated end of the season in November.

The Gamecocks have a ton of coaching momentum right now as everyone is still raving about Shane Beamer’s appearance at SEC Media Days, but that’s not going to make up for the lack of talent on the roster compared to Texas A&M here.

Will Muschamp ran the Gamecocks back into the ground after hanging on to his job for a few years longer than people expected as South Carolina went 2-8 in 2020 to get him canned. They started the season 2-2, but the Gamecocks lost six straight games to end the season, including blowout losses to LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia, and Kentucky.

I expect more blowout losses in this team’s future, especially with a young, inexperienced quarterback starting and one of the worst offenses and also defenses from last season returning 13 total starters.

Expect a second straight year with a blowout win by Texas A&M in this matchup.
