No. 2 Buffalo Bulls (Sept. 11 Lincoln)

Buffalo might not be a huge name in college football but the Bulls did finish 25th in the final AP poll last season that featured a 6-1 campaign and a trip to a bowl game.

The Bulls are also used to playing Big Ten teams, traveling to Penn State, Rutgers, and Minnesota over the past few years. Buffalo lost to Penn State by 29, yet beat Rutgers two years ago and also dropped a game to the Gophers by 10 back in 2017.

Buffalo will travel to Nebraska one week before the Huskers head to Oklahoma. It will be the third game of the season and the Bulls also have a new head coach after Lance Leipold went to Kansas.

The Bulls also lost their top rusher from a year ago in Jaret Patterson. Kevin Marks is back though and he averaged more than 100 yards per game.

But the Huskers should have a huge edge in talent and following what I think will be a 2-0 start, they will improve to 3-0 as they travel to Oklahoma. The offense with guys like Martinez and wideouts Samori Toure, Omar Manning, and Oliver Martin will have a field day.
