Kentucky is always one of those thorn-in-the-side teams in the SEC and Florida knows that a win over the Wildcats is no longer a given. While the Gators have dominated this matchup, the games have been much closer lately (other than last season’s blowout). But Florida should thank the Wildcats because without them, we may have never seen the emergence of Kyle Trask.

Mark Stoops should have a decent team in 2021, but nothing great. The Wildcats will be solid coming off a 5-6 season but there are a ton of quarterback questions along with only four starters returning to the No. 4 defense in the SEC.

Florida sneaks away with a big road win here.

Final Score: Florida 37, Kentucky 28 (4-1, 2-1)

Vanderbilt is going to be bad this season. Like comically bad.

But if you’re looking for reasons as to why the Gators will handle the Commodores, it’s because Ken Seals has a turnover problem, the offense ranked No. 110 in the country last year, and the defense was even worst, ranking No. 121. Yes, the Commodores were one of the worst teams in college football, finishing 0-9.

New year, new coach, new era, but unfortunately same results. This rebuild will take some time.

Final Score: Vanderbilt 10, Florida 44 (5-1, 3-1)
