I’m a believer in Missouri, but I don’t think the Tigers are going to be contenders just yet. Eli Drinkwitz is building something impressive in Columbia but he still has some ground to make up in the SEC before he can truly contend in the East. The Tigers could finish in that top four in the division and I wouldn’t be surprised, but they’re not on Georgia or Florida’s level just yet.

But hosting Florida with a chance to pull off a monster late-season upset and ruin the Gators’ New Year’s Six hopes will be plenty of motivation for this team.

However, I think Emory Jones and Florida escape in a nail-biter.

Final Score: Florida 27, Missouri 21 (9-2, 5-2)

Florida State hasn’t been a nationally relevant team since Jimbo Fisher was in town and now that the Seminoles seem to have a decent coach at the helm, it may not be long before they’re back in the thick of the playoff conversation.

That won’t happen in 2021, however.

This rivalry is always pretty intense but Florida has held the advantage lately. I think this game will be closer than people expect, but the Gators escape with a big win to end the year and remain in New Year’s Six contention.

A 10-win regular season following the departures of Kadarius Toney, Kyle Pitts, and Kyle Trask? Not too shabby.

Final Score: Florida State 24, Florida 31 (10-2, 6-2)
