While there are many teams taking part in marquee matchups on Saturday, Florida football isn’t one of them.
The Gators will be hosting Florida Atlantic Saturday night in the swamp and Willie Taggart’s crew is fresh off a 5-4 season that ended with a loss in a bowl game to Memphis.
However, the Owls return a bunch of starters on both sides of the ball. Plus there is the addition of former Miami quarterback N’Kosi Perry, who should help the offense be even better.
Florida football will also have a new starting quarterback this season in Emory Jones who will take over Kyle Trask.
Kyle Pitts is also gone after going in the top five to the Atlanta Falcons, so the Gators will have work to do with new faces at key spots in the lineup.

That’s a tough question to answer. But Florida football is going to be better defensively and the running game should be good enough for the Gators to roll.
