No. 12 Oregon at No. 4 Ohio State

Will the Pac-12 have any chance at the Playoff this year? If you are hoping so, circle this game on your calendar.

Oregon, to me, is really the only chance this conference has at really making the Playoff and for that to happen, they will have to knock off a team that many have in the Playoff already- Ohio State.

Last week, Ohio State was really challenged by Minnesota but was able to outlast them 45-31. On the other side, Oregon barely beat Fresno State, 31-24, and now they are coming to Ohio and expecting to win? I just can’t see that happening. Ohio State is favored by 14.5 and that feels like it is generous.

Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud has now been able to move past those first-game jitters and will be able to really show the world what the Buckeyes are made of.

Meanwhile, Anthony Brown and Oregon didn’t show much of anything special in Week 1 and I don’t see that changing on the road in Week 2.

Prediction: Ohio State
