Some of the games mentioned above will more than likely result in one team defeating the other by multiple touchdowns like Texas A&M easily beating New Mexico at home.

Some of the games are legitimate toss-ups like Utah State traveling to Air Force and Kansas State hosting Nevada. There are other games where one team will be favored and should win like BYU but their opponent in Week 3 in Arizona State may surprise the Cougars by pulling off an upset.

There are other games like Notre Dame versus Purdue and Memphis hosting South Carolina that should be very interesting as the favorite should win by at least a touchdown but it would not be a shocking upset if either won on a last-second field goal to pull off the win.

However, there are two marquee games featuring two undefeated teams playing one another in Week 3.

Alabama travels to play Florida in a game between two top 15 nationally-ranked teams. The Crimson Tide offense looks great through two weeks of play and the defense has played well especially against Miami on a neutral field. Florida’s defense has not looked dominant through two games but its offense is playing well. The Gators are the home team but expect Alabama to win and improve to 3-0.

The best game of week three will be the Nittany Lions hosting Auburn in a clash between a Big Ten East team versus a team from the SEC West in a battle of two teams with aspirations of winning their respective division.

Penn State went on the road and defeated nationally-ranked Wisconsin before easily defeating Ball State at home. Auburn has defeated two opponents that did not give them much of a challenge so this will be the Tigers’ first test of the season. This will be a close game but Penn State gets the edge in this matchup between two heavyweight contenders.
