1. Alabama’s first real road game since 2019

Alabama will become one-dimensional because of the defense Todd Grantham dials up for the Crimson Tide on Saturday afternoon and Anthony Richardson will put up big numbers with his arm and his legs and that would almost be enough to signal an upset, but add in the fact that Alabama hasn’t played a true road game since 2019.

With the COVID-19 year, there were no full stadiums, even in the SEC, even though there were some fans in hostile environments, but it was not the same.

This is much different.

Bryce Young has never played in an atmosphere like he’ll see on Saturday afternoon in The Swamp. Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is going to be rocking and that’s going to account for at least a touchdown advantage for Florida. On a neutral field, this would be much different, but the younger Crimson Tide players have never felt this type of hostility. It’s going to be an eye-opener.

Alabama is No. 1 in the country but the home-field advantage will lead to a major upset in one of the SEC’s most intimidating venues.
