College Football Rankings 2021: Projected AP Top 25 for Week 4
Talk about escaping by the skin of their teeth, the Buckeyes looked absolutely horrid against Tulsa.
Ohio State led by seven in the fourth quarter and Tulsa looked like it was going to march down and tie the ballgame, but the Buckeyes made some key stops and ended up scoring two more touchdowns to make things look a little more lopsided than they truly were. The final score of 41-20 was definitely not indicative of how close this game truly was.
TreVeyon Henderson had the third-best game of any Ohio State running back in school history, rushing for 270 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries. This made up for the shaky performance from CJ Stroud — although he did throw a big touchdown pass late to Garrett Wilson.
Was this just a hangover after a tough home loss to Oregon or is this what we should expect from Ohio State moving forward? Maybe the Buckeyes are human, after all.
