887. . 1-2. Previous: 14th. Commodores . 14. team

The Commodores remain at the bottom of the conference after a loss to Stanford and it doesn’t look like that is going to change much this season.

With a game against Georgia on the horizon, things aren’t getting much easier or better for the ‘Dores. Maybe the matchup with UConn will result in a win, but at this point — start counting down to baseball season over there in Nashville.

13. team. 893. . 1-2. Previous: 13th. Bulldogs

Mississippi State lost, albeit controversially, to Memphis last week and things aren’t looking up in Starkville as they welcome LSU this weekend.

The Tigers may be struggling as well, but they aren’t “losing to Memphis and/or nearly being knocked off by LA Tech” bad. This won’t be a repeat of 2020, where the Bulldogs curb-stomped LSU on the way to the biggest con job of a season ever.

I’m sorry, Bulldogs fans, but you may just be counting down to baseball season as well.
