Can this really be considered a rivalry anymore? Florida football is on a four-game winning streak and Dan Mullen hasn’t lost to Tennessee since taking over in Gainesville, but even more telling is the current 15-of-16 wins in the Gators’ favor.

Yes, 15 of the last 16 games have gone Florida’s way. So, like I said, is this really a rivalry anymore?

Tennessee fans would argue yes because both teams really dislike each other and this year will be no different.

Josh Heupel will get his first taste of the rivalry in The Swamp while Mullen will look to notch his fourth straight win over the Volunteers.

Let’s get bold.

3. Florida rushes for over 250 yards

Tennessee allows an average of 54.3 rushing yards per game, giving it one of the best run defenses in college football. Florida averages 336 rushing yards per game, giving it the No. 2 run offense in the nation.

Something’s got to give.

Tennessee hasn’t exactly faced a team with any sort of pulse in the run game as Pitt didn’t tote the rock a ton and neither Bowling Green nor Tennessee Tech could do much on the ground. They’re also two of the worst teams any SEC team will face this year.

Florida is not on the same level as any of those teams and Tennessee is going to find that out quickly. Emory Jones and Anthony Richardson are one heck of a dual-threat quarterback duo and the backfield for the Gators is loaded.

The Gators win this battle, rushing for over 250 yards on the Vols.
