2. Brock Purdy plays mistake-free football

Brock Purdy Is fresh off his best game of the season in which he completed 21-of-24 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns and he’s going to carry that momentum he built against the Rebels over into this game.

No, Baylor isn’t on the same level as UNLV — not even close — but Purdy desperately needed a confidence boost after losing to Iowa and throwing three picks while completing under 50 percent of his throws in the process. He will look solid once again versus Baylor with no interceptions and a couple of touchdown passes.

If Purdy has a 300-plus yard game and throws a few touchdown passes with no interceptions or fumbles, the Cyclones are going to win this game on the road.

He’ll have the Cyclones in a good position deep into the fourth quarter.
