No. 4 Biggest college football upset of Week 4

Baylor upset No. 14 Iowa State 31-29

The Baylor Bears were able to knock off ranked conference foe Iowa State despite being outplayed in just about every statistical category.

The Cyclones had more passing yards, more rushing yards, more points off kicks, and time of possession, but never led at any point in the game.

The Bears used an efficient night from junior QB Gerry Bohanon to power the offense to victory. Bohanon was 14 of 19 for 164 passing yards and threw two touchdowns. He added 36 yards on the ground for a touchdown.

After a rough 2020 season, the Bears seem to be back on track, now off to a 4-0 start. They face an undefeated Oklahoma State next week. Iowa State will try to bounce back against Kansas next week.

No. 3 Biggest college football upset of Week 4

No. 16 Arkansas upset No. 7 Texas A&M 20-10

This annual neutral site game at AT&T Stadium has ended in Texas A&M’s favor every year since they joined the SEC in 2011— until today. The Arkansas Razorbacks finally got a victory over Texas A&M in their annual Southwest Classic trophy game.

Arkansas Head Coach Sam Pittman has his Hogs overachieving after victories against a ranked Texas Longhorns and a ranked Texas A&M Aggies. Many experts and publications picked Arkansas to finish last in their division prior to the start of the 2021 college football season, now they’re on the heels of Alabama and Ole Miss for first place in the SEC West.

Arkansas QB KJ Jefferson threw for 212 passing yards and rushed for 50 yards, scoring two touchdowns in the game. Razorbacks wide receiver Treylon Burks had his biggest showing of the season, catching six passes for 167 yards and scoring a touchdown.

The Hogs have surpassed expectations for this season, but will they be able to keep the jukebox playing? The Razorbacks still have games against No. 1 Alabama, No. 2 Georgia, No. 13 Ole Miss, and No. 23 Auburn on their schedule.
