1. Isaiah Spiller deserves more touches.

The junior running back for the Aggies, Isaiah Spiller, showed that he deserves more touches on Saturday afternoon. He had a touchdown of 67 yards that his offensive line blocked beautifully for, something that was a shock to see on such a gloomy day for those in Maroon.

However, he didn’t really touch the ball after that play and that was a bad decision on the part of the coaching staff. He showed that he had the ability to make people miss and there is no reason he shouldn’t have at least gotten another touch or two.

Look for him to get more involved as Texas A&M football has Mississippi State this week and then prepare for Alabama. If they want to be competitive in these matchups, they need to be able to run the ball and that happens when they run through Spiller.

If he doesn’t get more involved, we may see more losses than Aggie fans were prepared for down the stretch here.
