1. The Aggie defense proved how good they are.

Texas A&M football had never beaten Auburn at Kyle Field since joining the SEC. That changed this Saturday afternoon and it is due to the performance that the Aggie defense put on.

Yes, they have shown up the last two weeks against Missouri and South Carolina but that was against inferior opponents and that is putting it mildly. This was a matchup against a team that was ranked ahead of the Aggies and they put on a show from the first snap to the last.

Tyree Johnson finished with two sacks, another big game from him. Michael Clemons scored a touchdown due to Bo Nix fumbling the football after being chased by Jayden Peevy. Jaylon Jones got a big interception.

Edgerrin Cooper and Antiono Johnson had huge games. That is just a snapshot of who did well and it is nowhere close to everyone that made an impact. To put it mildly, since allowing 17 points to open the Arkansas matchup, the Aggie defense has been pretty strong.
