1. Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss head coach

This should be the number one target at the University of Florida. Kiffin is on the same level as Mullen was an offensive play-caller, but can recruit at a much higher level. Kiffin has the kind of confidence that will remind many in Gainesville of Steve Spurrier and that is something that should appeal to the fanbase.

Kiffin has done a nice job of rebuilding his image after some tough stints at Tennessee and USC and has Ole Miss in the top 15 and on the cusp of a possible New Year’s Six bowl game in just his second season in Oxford. He should be able to get things going on the field and on the recruiting trail for the Gators instantly and have Florida competing for SEC titles once again.

If I ran the Florida football program, my first call would be to Lane Kiffin.
