I had Alabama listed as the projected No. 1 team in the country no matter what happened in the 2022 national title game. The Crimson Tide are bringing back so much talent on both sides of the ball that it truly is unfair for everyone else.

The title game loss for Bryce Young is going to sting like crazy, but you just know the Heisman-winning quarterback is going to come out and make a run at revenge in 2022. He became Alabama’s first-ever quarterback Heisman winner and it’s scary that a player that good is back for another year in Nick Saban’s system.

Along with Young, Ja’Corey Brooks, Agiye Hall, and Traeshon Holden, along with other young talented receivers return to the offense and adding Jahmyr Gibbs in the transfer portal is a bigger win than people thing at running back.

Saban is going to be hungrier than ever to win the national title next season after watching his team cough up an 18-13 lead in the fourth quarter to lose by double figures. This team is going to be really, really good in 2022.
