One of the most high-profile quarterbacks in the transfer portal is former USC signal-caller Jaxson Dart and here are his five best landing spots.

When Caleb Williams entered the transfer portal, the USC Trojans quickly became the favorite and soon after, former top-100 commitment Jaxson Dart soon entered the transfer portal himself.

Dart was a top-100 recruit in the 2021 class and a top-10 player at the position according to the 247 sports composite rankings.

And with the musical chairs currently going on in the transfer portal with quarterbacks shifting from one school to the next in order to get playing time, there are plenty of teams that would love to add Jaxson Dart to their roster for the 2022 season and beyond and here are the five best options for the former USC starting quarterback.

5. Utah

Utah is fresh off a Pac-12 championship and a trip to the Rose Bowl, so the Utes have a lot of momentum right now and Dart is from Draper, Utah so it would be close to home.

However, the issue with Utah is that Cameron Rising is entrenched as the starting quarterback right now. A former four-star recruit in 2019, Rising committed to Texas and transferred to Utah, where he threw 20 touchdown passes and won a Pac-12 title.

Dart could compete with Rising and apply some pressure on him next season. He also has multiple years to play, so even if he didn’t start in 2022, he might have a couple of years left if Rising left after next season.

But with some other big-time programs reportedly in pursuit, the Utes rank a little lower on the list simply because the need isn’t as great.
