Sept 3. Gainesville, FL. Pick Analysis. Utah Utes. 1. player. 843. Scouting Report

What a debut game for Napier. Utah is fresh off of a PAC-12 championship and Rose Bowl appearance in 2021. The Utes are bringing back a lot of talent for next year’s team and are going to be the preseason favorites to win the PAC-12. This will be one of the marquee games of the opening weekend and a chance for a west coast school to come to the SEC and take down one of the premier programs.

Despite the game being at home, this is going to be a tough game for Florida. Utah is going to bring a physical brand of football to Gainesville and looking for a big win. Florida will put up a fight, but Utah is going to fly back west with a victory.

Final Score: Florida 24, Utah 27 (0-1)

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Sept 10. Kentucky Wildcats. 833. Gainesville, FL. 2. player

After a tough game vs Utah, Florida will need to gear up for an SEC East rivalry with Kentucky. The Wildcats are coming off an impressive season, in which they were able to win at home vs Florida. The Gators have historically dominated this rivalry but under Mark Stoops, Kentucky has shown fight in most games against the Gators.

This will be an interesting matchup. Kentucky is going to be losing some talent off of last year’s team, but quarterback Will Levis does return. With the game being in Gainesville, Florida will pull out a close win over Kentucky.

Final Score: Florida 28, Kentucky 17 (1-1, 1-0 SEC)
