Texas A&M Football: Top 3 remaining targets for 2022 National Signing Day
How the heck could Texas A&M’s defensive line class get any better? The Aggies have five top-100 defensive line signees and early enrollees but they could actually add another one in the form of five-star defensive lineman Shemar Stewart.
The Opa Locka, Fla., native is the No. 12 prospect in the country, second-best defensive lineman, and top Florida recruit, according to the composite. To say he’s highly sought-after would be a massive understatement as he holds over 30 offers, but there are three leaders in his recruitment with signing day approaching.
Miami, Georgia, and Texas A&M are all hoping to land Stewart on signing day and wherever he decides to go, he’ll have an immediate impact.
How good is he? Well, 247Sports recruiting analyst Andrew Ivins projects him as a future first-round NFL draft pick. It’s hard to watch his highlights and not agree. He’s a 6-6, 275-pound dominant defensive lineman with a clear path to the NFL.
I could not imagine a better defensive line class in the country if he signs with Texas A&M.
