3-star RB Andrew Paul

There are always recruits that start rising and getting more attention during the late signing period and it only makes sense. Schools are looking to fill needs and some guys that were overlooked are now getting the attention they deserve.

One such recruit is three-star running back Andrew Paul. Paul is rated as the No. 592 prospect overall in the 247 composite rankings for 2022 but there’s a big-time recruiting battle going on for his commitment.

Michigan football offered soon after the early signing period ended and he was in Ann Arbor for a visit not long ago.

But his recruitment has absolutely blown up in recent weeks. Clemson has offered the 5-foot-11, 220-pound back with speed, and others such as Notre Dame and Georgia have followed.

Paul told 247 sports how much he enjoyed his visit to Clemson and also got an in-home visit from Georgia coaches. So the Wolverines are going to have to work to do but they would love to add a second running back to go with CJ Stokes.
