I had a tough time choosing between Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy, Shemar Stewart, and Walter Nolen for this spot, but I had to give the nod to the nation’s No. 2 overall recruit.

Nolen was the most sought-after defensive lineman in the class and even though the Aggies landed two other five-stars in the position group in the class, I see the Tennessee native having the biggest impact. No, he’s not enrolled early like Brownlow-Dindy, but he has the frame and the talent to be a dominant defensive lineman immediately.

When Nolen gets to campus this summer, he’s going to immediately crack the two-deep up front, especially with Jayden Peevy and DeMarvin Leal gone.

Nolen is going to fill a position of need right away and he’s good enough to be a day one starter in the trenches with his 6-4, 325-pound frame. Gabe Brooks compares him to Dexter Lawrence and says he has the look of a future first-round NFL draft pick.

No surprise there.
