Pick Analysis. Aidan Hutchinson. 10. Scouting Report. EDGE. Michigan. 3. player

Falling right into the Texans’ laps, Aidan Hutchinson will sneak by the hometown Lions which might break the Michigan edge rusher’s heart, but now he has an opportunity to be the next JJ Watt for Houston.

Not many players finished the regular season as red-hot as Hutchinson as he went from outside of any Heisman talk to No. 2 in the final voting after finishing with 62 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, and 14 sacks. He’s incredibly talented and effort will never be a problem with him at the next level.

S. Scouting Report. Notre Dame. Kyle Hamilton. 4. player. 30. Pick Analysis

For about a year now, Kyle Hamilton has been considered the best defensive back in the 2022 NFL Draft class. Even though he missed the end of the season because of an injury, he is still tops on a lot of teams’ boards.

The Jets need defensive back help so this would be a perfect fit. They could go either cornerback or safety with their first pick and I don’t see them targeting Derek Stingley Jr. here so I think the obvious pick is Hamilton.

Hamilton had 34 tackles, two tackles for loss, three interceptions, and four pass deflections in just seven games this past season.
