OT. Ikem Ekwonu. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 5. player. 31. NC State

If there’s one obvious need for the Giants, it has to be that offensive line. It’s been terrible for years and it has attributed to one of the worst offenses in the league.

Ikem Ekwonu is considered by some to be the best offensive tackle in the class even though I think Evan Neal deserves that distinction. The NC State product is a dominant run blocker who has shot up boards this season and if the Giants are serious about sticking with Daniel Jones, they’ll need to protect him.

CB. Derek Stingley Jr.. 6. LSU. player. 87. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Could the Panthers go quarterback here and be the first to take that leap in the draft? It’s possible since the Sam Darnold and Came Newton 2.0 projects were failures but unless Carolina trades down, I don’t see that happening. No. 6 just seems way too high to take one of the quarterbacks.

What Carolina does need is a cornerback and that’s where Derek Stingley Jr. comes into play. He’s the best cornerback in this class, in my opinion, and has superstar potential. He played in just three games this season and had eight tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss.
