The 2023 recruiting class is going to be the first full one for Miami Football head coach Mario Cristobal. Who are the top targets for the Hurricanes?

Miami Football head coach Mario Cristobal did a fantastic job of making something out of nothing with the 2022 recruiting class.

The Hurricanes were ranked in the seventies when Cristobal took over the program and by the end of the signing period in February, Miami was in the top 15 in the country. However, the 2022 class is not going to be the foundation Miami football builds upon to try and return to championship contention. That would be the 2023 recruiting class.

Miami has the potential to land a top-five recruiting class for the first time in the modern recruiting era. That was one of the reasons that Cristobal was brought back to his alma mater and he can recruit against the best in the country.

There is going to be plenty of talent as usual in the state of Florida and it is going to be up to Cristobal and his staff to make sure they get the best of that talent.

One other thing that should have Hurricanes fans excited for this upcoming class is the staff that Cristobal assembled. Every coach that he has hired, he has done so with bringing a top-class to Miami in mind. That has been something that Miami has not had in its 20 years of dysfunction.

There is going to be lots of competition for the players that the Hurricanes are going to go after. They are going to have to do something that they have had a hard time doing and that is beating elite schools for the top talent consistently.

Here are the top three targets for Miami football in the 2023 recruiting class.
